Summary Of The Book

Geronimo Stilton: The Hunt for the Golden Book brings children’s favorite mouse character, Geronimo Stilton back in action. This time round, Grandfather Williams is throwing Geronimo a party for publishing books for 10 years. But Grandfather Williams had only one request, he wanted Geronimo to write a book especially for this occasion. Geronimo somehow managed to complete writing the book, and just when he was about to send it to the printer, his computer got stolen. Now it was up to Geronimo and his friend’s to find his missing computer and print the new book and all this just in time for the party.

Geronimo Stilton: The Hunt for the Golden Book is accompanied by an extra Mini Mystery adventure, The Lake Monster. A few people on Mouse Island spot a mysterious monster in a lake. Geronimo Stilton is called in to investigate and find out the truth behind the lake monster.

About Elisabetta Dami

Geronimo Stilton is the pseudonym used by Elisabetta Dami who is an Italian writer of children’s fiction. Her books in the series include Paws Off, Cheddarface, The Phantom Of The Subway and The Wild, Wild West, The Search for Sunken Treasure, The Peculiar Pumpkin Thief, The Mouse Island Marathon, A Very Merry Christmas, and The Golden Statue Plot.

Dami was born in 1958 and she began her foray into the literary world as a proofreader at her family’s publishing house. She worked as a volunteer for sick children and this experience inspired her to write adventure stories for children. Her other subsidiary series include the Thea Stilton books, the Cavemice books and the Creepella Von Cacklefur books. The books have gone on to sell more than 65 million copies across the world.
